De Dessert Meesters is a family-owned business. The company started out as a high-quality ice cream parlor founded in 1925, which was taken over by Roerink Food Family in 2014. Our mission is to bring ice cream parlor quality to your retail store. As a Premium Private Label supplier, taste and quality are paramount to our business. Large-scale retailers sell our ice cream across the world.
Custom-made and existing products
New and existing products are developed and improved in our test kitchen. We enjoy following trends and doing our research, so there are always new flavors available. We’re more than happy to send samples to you.
- As well as flavors based on the latest trends, custom-made products can be developed on request
- Kosher, Lower Calories and Vegan ice cream are all included in the options available

Sustainability as a cornerstone
Sustainability is important to us. As well as being a flexible and reliable strategic partner, we believe the environment is truly valuable. Therefore:
- We use meadow milk, barn eggs, and the best fruits, and know exactly where our ingredients come from
- We work with Rainforest Alliance Certified cacao. www.ra.org
- Our warehouse is CO2 neutrally chilled
- The warehouse was built under the BREEAM sustainability assessment method (level ‘excellent’)
- About 30% of the energy we use comes from our own solar panels. In addition we purchase European wind energy.
